Uruguai derruba proibição a homossexuais no exército

Do The New York Times:

"Uruguay has lifted a ban on homosexuals’ joining the armed forces, the Web site of the president reported on Friday. The decree, signed by President Tabaré Vázquez and Defense Minister José Bayardi, says sexual orientation will no longer be considered a reason to prevent people from entering the military. It lifts a ban imposed by the military dictatorship that ruled until 1985."
